The bombing of the Israeli army continues in the residential areas of Gaza. More than 120 Palestinians were martyred in the last 24 hours. An Israeli hostage was killed in an operation by the Israeli army.

The number of Palestinians who have been martyred in the Israeli attacks in Gaza since October 7 has exceeded 22,637. While more than 57296 people have been injured.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, more than 9,100 children and more than 6,500 women are among the martyrs, while 8,663 children and 6,327 women are also among the injured.

On the other hand, there was no reduction in Zionist atrocities on Palestinians in the occupied West Bank. The number of martyred Palestinians, including 83 children, has exceeded 324, while more than 3,800 people have been injured by the actions of the Israeli army and extremist Jews in the West Bank.

According to the data provided by the United Nations Office of Human Affairs (OCHA) and the World Health Organization until December 31, 2023, 355,000 residential units in Gaza have been destroyed by Israel’s barbaric attacks. More than 370 educational centers have also been defaced.

According to the data, 23 out of 36 hospitals in Gaza have been completely closed after being subjected to Israeli brutality. 123 ambulances and 203 places of worship have also been targeted.

From October 7, 2023, to January 3, 2024, 87 journalists have lost their lives in Israeli attacks in Gaza. The vast majority of martyred journalists are Palestinian journalists.

According to the International Organization of Journalists, the Committee to Protect Journalists, and the International Federation of Journalists, 80 Palestinian, three Lebanese, and four Israeli journalists have lost their lives while performing their journalistic duties.

The Palestinian Prime Minister said in one of his statements, that the citizens of Gaza are suffering from various diseases due to food shortage.

After the martyrdom of Hamas leader Saleh al-Aroori along with 6 colleagues in an Israeli drone attack on Beirut, the situation on the border between Lebanon and Israel has become more tense.

The whole world has failed Gaza

The conflict persisted into New Year’s Eve, with Israel launching new strikes on central Gaza, marking what Defence Minister Yoav Gallant deemed an “essential stage” in their mission to dismantle Hamas. Simultaneously, rockets from Gaza were fired toward Israel at midnight and intercepted before reaching their target.

Hizbollah has announced that it will take revenge for the martyrdom of the deputy head of the political bureau of Hamas along with five colleagues in the Israeli drone attack, saying that Israel will have to pay a heavy price for the martyrdom of Saleh al-Aroori.

Hezbollah said in its statement that the martyrdom of the senior leader of Hamas, Saleh al-Aroori, will not reduce the resistance on the supporting fronts of Yemen, Syria, and Iraq.

Describing the attack on the Hamas leader in the center of Beirut as an attack on the people, security, and sovereignty of Lebanon, Hezbollah said that Israel would give a strong response to this attack.
