4 Master’s Degree Holder ‘PhD Sabziwala’ Goes Viral on Social Media

PATIALA: An Indian man selling vegetables with the name ‘PhD Vegetable Walla’ has gone viral on social media.

According to Indian media ‘NDTV‘, the person who went viral on social media with the name ‘Ph.D. Sabziwala’ belongs to the Punjab province of India.

39-year-old Dr. Sandeep Singh has obtained 4 Masters degrees. But due to not getting a good job, they go door to door to sell vegetables every day.

According to NDTV reports, Dr. Sandeep Singh was a contract professor at Punjabi University in Patiala for 11 years before selling vegetables. Unfortunately, circumstances forced him to quit his job and sell vegetables.

According to Indian media reports, Dr. Sandeep Singh has a PhD in Law and four Master’s degrees in Punjabi, Journalism, and Political Science, while his educational journey is still ongoing.

Sandeep Singh said about his job, “I had to leave my job because my salary was not received on time, and my salary was cut repeatedly. It became difficult for me to earn a living from this job. That’s why I started selling vegetables to meet my and my family’s expenses.”

Dr. Sandeep Singh has also put a board on his vegetable basket with words like ‘Ph.D. SabziWala’, which means Ph.D. vegetable vendor.

He says that he earns more money by selling vegetables than in his job as a professor. After selling vegetables for a whole day, he returns home in the evening, and studies for his exams.

Dr. Sandeep Singh says he plans to open his private tutoring center.
