33 Ball 100 Runs: World Record in T20 By Namibian Batsman John Nicol Loftie-Eaton

Namibia’s John Nicol Loftie-Eaton made history in T-20 cricket. John Nicoll Lofty Eaton scored a century against Nepal in the T20 off just 33 balls and became the fastest batsman to score a century in T-20.
Namibia is currently touring Nepal and Lofty-Eaton achieved the feat in the first match of the tri-series against the hosts. When Lofty-Eaton came in to bat, his team had lost three wickets for 62 in the 11th over. But then Lofty Eaton stormed the field and scored a century in just 33 balls.
Lofty-Eaton’s explosive century saw Namibia score over 200 runs against Nepal.
Lofty Eaton played an innings of 101 runs off 36 balls with the help of 11 fours and eight sixes. Lofty Eaton completed his century with a four. Earlier, the record for the fastest century in men’s T-20 was held by Nepal’s Kushal Mala, who scored a 34-ball century against Mongolia last year.

David Miller is third in this list who scored a 35-ball century against Bangladesh in 2017. While Rohit Sharma is in the fourth position on this list. Rohit Sharma scored a 35-ball century against Sri Lanka in 2017.
Namibia’s Nicole Lofty-Eaton scored the fastest century in T-20 Internationals against Nepal in just 33 balls, a historic moment for Namibian cricket.
On the back of Lofty Eaton’s explosive century, Namibia scored 206 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, the Nepal team could score only 186 runs and lost the match by 20 runs.

On behalf of Nepal, Rohit Padil played an innings of 42 runs off 24 balls. While Kushal Mala scored 32 runs off 21 balls. Dipinder Singh Eri played an innings of 48 runs off 32 balls.
After scoring an explosive century, John Nicoll Lofty Eaton also showed his spin and took two wickets. Loughey-Eaton was named Man of the Match for his performance.
