Japan Stepped On The Moon, America Failed

TOKYO: The Japanese space mission ‘Moon Sniper’ has successfully landed on the moon.

According to the Reuters, America failed to reach the moon, but Japan has set foot on the moon, Japan’s ‘Moon Sniper’ has touched the surface of the moon.

Japan’s MoonSniper robotic explorer has landed on the lunar surface, but the mission may end prematurely because the spacecraft’s solar cells are not generating power, Japan’s Aerospace Exploration Agency said. The agency said it was receiving a signal from the lander, and communication was going as expected.

The mission team told a news conference that they hope that as the solar angle on the moon changes, the solar cells will be able to recharge, but that this may take some time and will depend on how much space is available. Can SLIM survive a very cold lunar night?

Japan has described its technology as unprecedented and important for the possibility of water and human habitation on the moon. In this way, Japan became the fifth country in the world to land on the surface of the moon, before the missions of America, Russia, China, and India landed on the moon.

After a fuel leak, the spacecraft was diverted to the Pacific Ocean, where it burned up over the Pacific Ocean after entering Earth’s boundary.
