Recommendation to include names of Bushra Bibi, Zulfi Bukhari and Shahzad Akbar in ECL

The names of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan, his wife Bushra Bibi, Zulfi Bukhari, and Shahzad Akbar were recommended to be included in the exit control list (ECL).

The meeting of the Federal Cabinet Sub-Committee on ECL was attended by Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, Caretaker Communications Minister Shahid Ashraf Tarar, officers of the Ministry of Interior, and other institutions.

The meeting reviewed various cases related to ECL and the sub-committee recommended the names of 41 persons to be placed on ECL.

On the recommendation of NAB, it was recommended to put the names of 29 people, including Chairman PTI Imran Khan, on the ECL in the 190 million pound scam, while it was also recommended to remove 13 different types of cases from the ECL.

On the instructions of the judiciary, the names of 7 persons were recommended to be removed from the ECL, while the names of 3 persons were recommended to be removed from the ECL out of the appeals submitted for review.

The recommendations of the sub-committee will be sent to the caretaker federal cabinet for final approval.
