Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali: The 147th birth anniversary

The 147th birth anniversary of the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, is being celebrated today with great devotion and respect.

This morning there will be a prestigious ceremony of changing of the guards at Mazar-e-Quaid while it is a public holiday across the country.

In his special message regarding the birth anniversary of the founder of Pakistan, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is still a beacon for all of us, the best way to pay homage to Quaid-e-Azam is to follow his principles.

In 1895, he obtained his law degree from London and returned to Bombay to practice law regularly.

In 1896, Muhammad Ali Jinnah started his political career and joined the Indian National Congress, but after some time he realized that the Congress was only a representative party of Hindus.

After joining the All-India Muslim League, Quaid-e-Azam devoted his days and nights to awakening the political consciousness of Muslims. Finally, his struggle paid off and on August 14, 1947, the dream of a separate homeland for the Muslims of the subcontinent was fulfilled. Pakistan was kept.

After independence, Quaid-e-Azam‘s health began to deteriorate and after fighting with many diseases, he finally died on 11 September 1948.
