Punjab Takes Firm Action Against Smoke-Emitting Vehicles

LAHORE: Strict action has been taken against vehicles emitting smoke in Punjab.

According to a Geo News report, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has said that it has been decided to implement a modern computerized system of Vehicle Fitness Certificate in Punjab, all vehicles emitting smoke will be checked.

Maryam Aurangzeb further said that vehicles are being monitored with Safe City cameras, the Punjab government has also increased the speed of fines. In the province, there is strict monitoring and enforcement of laws. The vehicles that emit smoke are being done to improve the environment.
