Karachi Couple Arrested for Selling Goats with Artificial Teeth

KARACHI: Just as people are busy buying the best animals for Eid-ul-Adha, others are busy making a profit from it. The husband and wife traders who sold goats with artificial teeth in Gulberg, Karachi, have been taken into custody by the police. The police said that both the husband and wife used to cut the plastic straws to fill the teeth of the sacrificial animals.

According to Jang News, two traders who were selling goats with artificial teeth in the Gulberg Chowrangi area of ​​Karachi have been caught by the police. When someone who came for shopping checked the teeth and found them fake teeth, the buyer took out the fake teeth and uploaded the video on social media.

After this, the officials of Sumanabad police station took action and took the merchant husband and wife into custody along with 7 goats and transferred them to the police station. The two are husband and wife traders, who came to Karachi from Hyderabad to sell animals, and the teeth were made by cutting plastic straws to fill the teeth of the sacrificial animals. But after the investigation, the husband and wife said that ‘the tooth was not known to be artificial, we have been defrauded ourselves.’
