Gold Prices Skyrocket After Brief Decline
PESHAWAR: Gold prices rose dramatically in Pakistan after a brief decline. According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola has increased by Rs 2400. With this increase, the price of gold has risen to 243,000 per Tola.
According to the association, the price of 10 grams of gold has increased by Rs 2,057, which now stands at Rs 208,333. The increase comes after a slight drop in gold prices yesterday, where the price fell by Rs 400 per Tola.
Internationally, the trend is mirrored by the domestic market, with gold rising $30 to $2,362 an ounce on the global market.
This rapid rise in gold prices has given rise to reactions among investors and consumers alike. Because the precious metal is showing its volatility and appeal as a hedge against economic uncertainty.
